Our management team averages more than 20 years experience in the field of control and optimization. The consulting staff have an average of over 10 year's experience in model predictive control, modeling, simulation and optimization. In addition to the advanced technology experience, our consultants are extremely skilled in evaluating the performance and operability of chemical and refining processes. With experience on over 30 Fluid Catalytic Cracking Units and 40 Ethylene Units we have the capability to assist our customers in quickly improving the performance of these processes.

  1. AMT staff have implemented advanced multivariable control systems on all major refining process units including distillation, cracking, reforming, alkylation, heavy oil processing and auxiliary processes – over 100 multivariable controllers in all.
  2. With more than 40 multivariable control applications and nearly 20 optimization applications on Ethylene plants our experience is unsurpassed.
  3. Multivariable control of Gas Processing facilities can deliver substantial benefits. Our staff have implemented control applications in the gas processing industries, including LNG, NGL and refinery gas plants.
  4. AMT staff have implemented advanced control solutions in oil and gas production, both onshore and offshore.
  5. A significant number of very successful applications have been implmented in the chemical and polymer industries on a variety of production units.
